Mr. Lu’s Kitchen in South Pandosy, Kelowna, offers a convenient option for classic Chinese takeout. We recently sampled their Chicken Chow Mein and Almond Chicken on Christmas Day, enjoying the dishes within the festive ambiance of our own home. While the Chow Mein was a tad dry and the Almond Chicken pleasant but unremarkable, the generous portions and reasonable price (CA$10-20 per person) offered decent value. The efficient and friendly service, despite the holiday rush, also deserves commendation.
While our Christmas takeout from Mr. Lu’s wasn’t particularly memorable, it provided a satisfying and affordable meal. The positive experience with the service and the cozy atmosphere suggest a potential return visit to further explore their menu. Perhaps other dishes hold the key to unlocking the true culinary treasures within Mr. Lu’s Kitchen.
